Victoria Rabb is a self-taught watercolor artist. In 1980 she and her husband and their three children moved 12 miles north from her home town of Lenoir, N. C. to the scenic Happy Valley area of Caldwell County. There she fell in love with the wildlife and landscape that surrounded her.

Inspiration for her paintings orginates from the natural vegetation, the abundance of wild and domestic animals and any dispairing old structure left to ruin that seemed to have a story to tell of a better time. She finds painting realistically allows each subject to tell it's story. There is no need for Victoria to leave the valley in search of ideas for her paintings. The vast display of mother nature's miraclesenvokes a plethera of wonderment and reverence.
