Buddy Dixon is an award winning taxidermist who brought home a ribbon in his first ever competition and several more after that. In 2006, he was awarded the Best Furbearer at the NCTA Convention in Salisbury, NC.

That same year, he, along with his brother Kyle opened Call of the Wild Studio in his hometown of Beaufort, NC.

Being an avid hunter and fisherman has allowed him the ability to study animals in the wild and bring those experiences to his work. He specializes in game heads, waterfowl, fish, gamebirds and life-size mounts as well as habitat. There is a true art in preserving the natural look of wildlife. Buddy strives to capture that in all his work.
